Baked burgers  烤漢堡

My husband loves Japanese burger patties with rice, my girl and I love the American meatloaf. They look like two different things with different flavors. But, both of them are all made by almost the same ingredients, just different spices or sauce. Either Japanese patties or American meatloaf, these are all very comforting, especially when I feel tired from a long day. I would love to create my own recipe for my family. But, my two boys said, they would never ever eat meatloaf in their lives. So, that's how I came out with the name which called " Baked burgers ". They looked like large size burger patties, but the texture liked meatloaf. It got all the burger ingredients such as onion, sweet and tangy diced relish, even " bread " crumbs in the patties, plus Japanese BBQ sauce, and white wine. I could not force my kids to try new things, but I could trick them, sometimes. Don't I ?

Cooking time: 10 minutes for sauté onion and mixing, 30-45 minutes for baking. Make 5 large size burgers patties, about 2 inches thick.

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes.

Baking time: 30 minutes.

Serving 4-5 people.

Ingredients:

1. 3 pounds of 80% of lean ground beef. 2. 2 medium diced onions. 3. 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs. 4. 1/2 cup of white wine to mix with meat. Other 1/2 cup of wine for bathing. 5. 1/2 cup sweet and tangy diced relish.

6. 1 tablespoon of garlic powder. 7. 1 egg. 8. 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce to mix with meat. Extra 1/2 cup BBQ sauce for bathing.

9. White, black or red pepper for your own taste with your favorite BBQ sauce.

* I like to use white and red peppers when I cook my food in Asian flavors. Western cuisine I would use black pepper more often.

Sauté diced onion with a little oil and season with salt and garlic powder till it's soft and tender, let it cool down.

Preheat oven to 400F.

Simply mix all the ingredients together, except the 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup of white wine. Mix them well as a large sticky dough.

Flat the meat in the bowl to easy sort out the patties size.

Shape the patties as oval shape like the size of our palm.

Laid the patties in the baking dish, add in the 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce with white wine, give it a little bit mix. Place in the oven bake for the first 20 -25 minutes till the top is getting nice brown color. Bath the patties with the sauce from the baking dish, then, turn heat down to 300F. Bake about 10 minutes or more, depends on the size and the thickness of your patties. Done!!!

These patties were full of all the savor flavors from Japanese BBQ sauce, and that bathing BBQ sauce keeps the patties so moist and tender. It made those patties tasted almost like the dense cake. I know it came out lots fat. Please be easy with it, because they were way too good. A tablespoon of this sauce drizzled on top of rice or mixed with any noodles. You will be in a heavenly treat !!!!

Then, I saw my kids were asking for more, but I said no. I wanted them to beg for it ...... Hahaha !!! I'm a sneaky mom.

我老公喜歡日式的漢堡排, 女兒和我則愛美式的烤肉餅. 它們二者看起來不一樣, 味道也不同. 但這兩種卻幾乎用了同樣的食材, 只差別於不同的醬色或香料. 不管是日式的漢堡排或是美式的烤肉餅. 它們都是屬於會令人很溫暖的食物, 尤其是我在累了一整天之後. 我很願意為自己的家人出個點子來做這道菜. 但是我的兩位公子們卻說" 他們絕對是不會嘗肉餅的. 也因為如此, 我想出了" 烤漢堡排" 的這名堂. 它們看起來像是大型的漢堡排, 內容的口感卻像是美式的烤肉餅. 所有的材料還包括了漢堡應有的, 像是洋蔥, 酸甜碎黃瓜, "麵包"粉, 當然還有那日式烤肉醬和白酒. 我不能強迫孩子們嚐試新的食物, 但我可以騙騙他們吧? .....

烹調時間: 10分鐘, 炒洋蔥且混合所有的食材. 入烤箱烤30-45分鐘. 可做: 5個大型漢堡排, 約厚2吋.

準備時間:5-10 分鐘.

烘烤時間:30 分鐘.

適用於: 4-5 人.

材料:

1. 3磅80%的瘦牛絞肉. 2. 2顆中型洋蔥切末. 3. 1/2 杯的麵包粉. 4. 1/2杯的白酒, 再加另外1/2杯的白酒用來浸泡用. 5. 1/2 杯的碎酸甜黃瓜. 6. 1 大匙的蒜粉. 7. 1 顆蛋. 8. 1/2 杯你喜歡的烤肉醬, 再加1/2杯浸泡用. 9. 白, 黑楜椒或紅辣椒粉依個人喜好搭配你的烤肉醬. *當我煮亞洲風味時我喜歡用白楜椒或紅辣椒粉. 歐式

用一點點的油炒香洋蔥使其變軟, 並且用塩和蒜粉調味, 放冷!

預熱烤箱400F.

除了1/2杯的烤肉醬和1/2杯的白酒之外, 將所有的材料拌勻, 成為像有黏性的麵團一樣.

在碗裏壓平肉餡便能平分出漢堡肉排的大小尺寸.

將肉排整型的像是我們手掌大小的尺寸.

放肉排入烤盤中, 倒入最後剩下的1/2杯的烤肉醬和1/2杯的白酒, 稍做混合浸泡用! 入烤箱先烤20-25分鐘. 當表層出現棕色時, 淋上烤盤內的汁液, 改烤箱300F, 再烤個10-15分鐘左右. 依你的漢堡排尺寸的厚度不一稍做調整, 完成!!!

這些烤漢堡充滿了日本烤肉醬的風味, 而烤肉醬和白酒在外的浸泡, 讓這些肉排在烤中保持溼潤及柔軟. 它們吃起來的口感幾乎像紮實的蛋糕. 我知道它出現了許多油, 但請你小心的使用. 舀一湯匙在飯上或是拌麵就能有像上了天堂一樣的享受!!! 然後, 我看著孩子們要求再來一份. 我說不行, 要他們求我才給 ..... 哈哈! 我可是位很狡猾的媽咪喔!
